Confined spaces such as aircraft cockpits need to be monitored to ensure that the enclosed or partially enclosed area is safe to enter when required. Air quality contaminants of an enclosed space can be but not limited to Inert, flammable and toxic gases. A confined space is usually defined as a space that is not usually entered by an individual so it needs to have a safe atmosphere and the necessary oxygen levels. The confined space atmosphere can be monitored using personal gas sensors.

Our range of personal gas detectors are designed to monitor O2, CO, which are the main gases of interest in an aircraft environment. If the device detects the presence of Carbon Monoxide O or reduction in Oxygen the wearer is altered with visual, audible and vibration alarms. The detector is designed so that the confined space atmosphere can be monitored for all problematic gas types.
